Thea Meulenberg Casting is an Amsterdam based commercial casting agency with international experience since 1980. We help production companies, advertising agencies, brands and photographers find actors, models and presenters in the Netherlands and internationally.

Our carefully curated talent pool includes Dutch talent, native British and American English speakers, multilingual talent and distinctive international profiles.

We specialise in commercial casting for TV commercials, online campaigns, social media, branded content, corporate productions and photography.

Based in Amsterdam, we combine strong knowledge of the Dutch casting market with an international network. Depending on your brief, we can cast talent in the Netherlands, across Europe or internationally.

Self tapes, sedcards and e castings make it possible to present suitable talent efficiently, wherever the production team is based.

International casting often involves different countries, media and usage periods. We help clients and talent understand the commercial side of casting, including territories, duration, media and buyouts.

Usage may include TV, online, social media, CTV, OTT, OOH, DOOH and print. Local usage applies to a defined market, while global usage covers multiple territories.

A buyout is the fee paid to the talent for agreed commercial usage. It is paid when the recorded material is actually used or broadcast as agreed. If the talent is cut from the final production and their contribution is not used, the buyout does not apply.

The buyout amount we state is after our agency commission has been deducted. Statutory taxes have not yet been deducted.
